By Placing an order with our company you agree to the following terms...

Order Processing

Translation time begins ONLY after an order has been received and successfully completed our initial processing. Orders are considered received and are put into production ONLY when:

(1) a work order has been created with complete order specifications.

(2) all customer files (source files) with originals have been correctly submitted.
(3) you (the client) provide us with the required transliteration (spelling) of the names or choose "Transliterate the names at your discretion" option

We will always act to make sure that delivery schedules are met. We estimate that most orders will be ready for delivery within 3-5 business days. All proofs approved before noon (CST) are considered starting on that business day. Approved proofs received after noon (CST) will begin the following business day. However, unexpected equipment failure, malfunction and/or technical problems may delay the translation process. Technical difficulty will not be the grounds for order cancellation or discounts.

Turnaround Guarantee

Although we make every intention of meeting all posted turnaround times, our turnaround is intended as an estimate and not a guarantee. We cannot be responsible for mechanical malfunctions, acts of god, or other unforeseen circumstances. However, by adding expedited rush service, we guarantee that your order will be ready next business day, or we will refund you 100% off your rush charge. Please contact us for more information.

Payment Terms

All orders must be prepaid. Under NO conditions does DocTranslation.com offer terms, or extend credit.

Because each job is created custom for the client, it cannot be reused or resold.


Cancelled orders require compensation for incurred costs and related obligations at the time of cancellation.

Due to the speed of our turnaround, you may only cancel a job if it has not been placed on a run. A minimum charge of $25 is applied to jobs cancelled after artwork has been processed for print.

No refunds will be given for orders cancelled after 3pm EST of the same business day the order was placed.

Shipping & Delivery

If you order certified translation only you will receive a PDF-file with translation, which is sufficient.

If you order Notarized Copy of translation, you order will be shipped.

Because shipping carriers are beyond our control, DocTranslation.com is not responsible for delays and/or damage incurred during shipping.

Title for finished work passes to the customer upon delivery to the carrier at shipping point.

We will insure boxes at customers discretion and expense.

We are Not responsible for Delays or Damage incurred after your shipment has left our office.

Claims for defects, damages, or shortages must be made by the client in writing no later than 1 calendar day after delivery. If no such claim is made, our company and the client will understand that the job has been accepted. By accepting the job, the client acknowledges that our performance has fully satisfied all terms, conditions and specifications.


Prices posted on this website are subject to change without notice. Written estimates are good for 10 business days. An estimate not accepted within 10 business days may be void.

Accuracy of Quotes

Quotations are based on the accuracy of the specifications provided. DocTranslation.com reserves the right to re-quote a job at the time of submission if the job does not conform to the information on which the original estimate was based.

Right To Refuse

Our translation company reserves the right to use its sole discretion in refusing to translate anything it deems improper or known to be illegal. Our translation company is not liable for any damages resulting from unwitting violation of copyright laws or illegal use of trade names or slogans. The client guarantees the legal title of all matter submitted to our company for translating and/or publication.


DocTranslation.com liability shall be limited to the stated selling price to the customer of any defective goods, and shall in no event include special, consequential, incidental, indirect or similar damages, including without limitation, lost profits. DocTranslation.com warrants that every product manufactured by it meets industry standard for such product and is free of any material defect in workmanship. IT IS EXPRESSLY AGREED THAT THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR USE AND MERCHANTABILITY. DocTranslation.com makes no other warranty and no actions or words of DocTranslation.com or its officers, employees or agents shall constitute a warranty.

Electronic Manuscripts/Images

It is the client responsibility to maintain a copy of the original computer files. DocTranslation.com is not responsible for accidental loss or damage to media supplied by the client or for errors on supplied files furnished by the client. DocTranslation.com does not archive your work for longer than it takes to produce the final product. Please save your work!

Right To Subcontract

DocTranslation.com shall have the right to assign any portion of the work required to another contractor.

Translation Guarantee

We guarantee all orders to be free of translation errors. If any order does not match the generally accepted trade standards, we will correct errors.

Credit Card Billing

Your credit card bill will be processed by PayPal.

Privacy Statement

Any information we collect from order processing or from any inquiries is not shared with any other company. Your information is only used for contact, billing, and shipping purposes. Your credit card information is never stored by our company.

Disputes & Venue

For legal purposes, the venue for any dispute shall be New York, New York

Changes To Our Policy

Our company may change, modify, add or remove portions of this policy at any time, and any changes will become effective immediately upon being posted unless we tell you otherwise.
